FESTIVAL
OF DANCES 2012 IN CONCERT AT THE PARK
This Sunday, May 20, 2012, stating
at 5:00 p.m., Concert at the Park goes ballet dancing with the Allesi Ballet
Center, under the artistic direction of Ms. Bella Bengco, in a program titled,
“Festival of Dances 2012”. Ms. Minette Padilla is program host.
On its 6th Summer Dance
Workshop, Allesi Ballet Center goes back to the Rizal Park, where it had its
first culminating activity in 2007. Titled, “Festival of Dances 2012”, Allesi
Ballet Center shall showcase dances in favorite Filipino Folk music and classical music.
“Festival of Dances” is composed of
the following program: Part I – Classical: VALS DE LAS HORS (Music: Delibes)
featuring Sarah Isabelle Malaras (Dawn), Gale Amber Obeya (Work) with Angela
Bianca Banez, Elizabeth Bauyon, Alessandra Bengco, Emmanuelle Sophilnez Camara,
Ella Henrichsen, Clarelle Junio, Sara Malaras, Amzi Morales, Sarag Schneider,
Gale Obeya, Jenna Ong and Ianthe Ignacio; Part II – THE NUTCRACKER:
POLICHENELLES (Music: Tchaikowsky) featuring Haraya Banez, Haily Chandler,
Sheena Romero and Samantha Santos; Part III – PAQUITA (Music: Deldevez)
featuring Ronique Felipe, Alysandra Ignacio, Critine Pasion and Charlene
Privaldos for PAS DE QUATRE and for GRAND PAS, Ronique Felipe, Alysandra
Ignacio, Cristine Pasion, Nadine de Guzman Regina Roxas and Charlene
Privaldos;and Part IV – Filipiniana: SUBLI featuring Sara Malaras, Sarah
Schneider, Emmanuelle Camara, Ella Henrichsen, Clarella Junio, Jenna Ong and
Elizabeth Bauyon; UGOY NG DUYAN with Charlene Privaldos; POLKA BAL with
Sunshine Bagaoisan, Haraya Banez, Sheena Romero and Samantha Santos; SALAKOT
with Angela Banez, Alessandra Bengco, Amzi Morales and Gale Obeya; SARUNG
BANGGI with Nadine de Guzman, Ronique Felipe, Alysandra Ignacio, Cristine
Pasion, Charlene Privaldos and Regina Roxas; and FILIPINO MEDLEY.
Concert at the Park is a regular public service project of the Department of Tourism, under Sec. Ramon Jimenez, Jr., the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC), under Executive Director Juliet H. Villegas, and the People’s Television Four. NPDC Chief of the Cultural & Public Affairs Division Freddie A. Edos is the Executive In Charge of the project. Gie V. Arnold writes the script. Admission to Concert at the Park is
free of charge. The public is cordially invited.
