SCREENING OF DUTCH FILMS THIS WEEK-END
AT THE
CINEMA IN THE OPEN-AIR
“A Night of Films from the
Netherlands” ends this week-end, at the Rizal Park Cinema in the Open-Air, with
the screening of the following Dutch films, namely, “Love Is All” on May 19,
2012, Saturday, and “Hanna Hannah” on May 20, 2012, Sunday.
“Love
Is All” takes place on the day the Dutch celebrate the advent of St. Nicholas
and follows a number of intertwining stories. The film offers a kaleidoscopic
view of romance, the Dutch way. It stars some of Holland’s best actors, the
film was a huge hit, drawing over a million viewers to the cinema!
“HannaHannah” is a 2007 film made
for tv, about Hannah, the headstrong rebel daughter. She tries to avoid the
preparations for her parents’ wedding anniversary but her brand new lover drags
her along and soon proves an ideal son-in-law, which arouses mixed feelings in
her.

Sunday! Screening time is at 7:00 p.m. Venue is the Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium, Manila. Admission is free.
Cinema in the Open-Air is a project of the National Parks Development Committee, under Executive Director Juliet H. Villegas, and for this week-end, in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Mr. Freddie Edos is the Executive In Charge of the project. Cinema in the Open-Air is designed to entertain and to educate park visitors through the art of cinema.
