PLDT Kaasenso CYBERYA at Gabay Guro Grand Gathering

Last week was a blast from the past as we celebrated World Teacher's Day at the SM Mall of Asia Arena courtesy of Gabay Guro (2G). Part of 2G's aim is to help teachers improve their lives by opening their minds to exploring opportunities that can augment their income. Since PLDT KaAsenso Cyberya is a major sponsor in the said event, ten Cyberya units were given to 10 public schools that need broadband connection for the benefit of its students. PLDT KaAsenso is not just providing the broadband connection, but an entire complete package already!)

What is a PLDT KaAsenso Cyberya package?

Have you seen the latest Tales of the Friend Zone X #TFTFx?

As I was browsing latest videos in Youtube I chanced upon seeing the latest Tales pf the Friend Zone X pr #TFTFx. I know that Mr. Ramon Bautista is one funny guy so I watched his video to start on a good vibe on my rainy Monday morning. So what's #TFTFx?

It is basically a new web-series where Ramon Bautista stars in Tales of the Friend Zone X (#TFTFx) to share the bittersweet love story of Arvin Jimenez (Ramon Bautista) and Teacher Ines (Nikki Veron Cruz).

20 Ways You Can Be The Best Friend Ever

Every year I do my best to stay connected with my friends and family. I initiate the scheduling, planning and organizing just to make sure that we have at least one quality-time bonding experience a year. That's how I stay connected. I realized that it actually works (at least for me) because even if I didn't have the chance to see that person for the rest of the 364 days, when we go back talking to each other, it feels like we just talked yesterday.

I made here a list of what other ways I think I can be the the best friend ever.

My Monde Mamon Summer Experience

It's half-term break at our school and so I am enjoying the first day of my break. I happen to chance an event announcement about mommies and their youngsters happily decorating their own cupcakes. It would be cliche to comment "how sweet" but nothing captures the moment for me other than those words.

To the readers of the said post a challenge was posted, "how do you plan to make your summer with the family a worthwhile and unforgettable bonding experience?"

As a special education teacher and a parent myself, here is my 5-step guide on planning an  "unforgettable bonding experience" with my family.

X-MEN: Days of Future Past

Time travelling has always been one of the dreams of mankind. Researches on the wrinkle of time, the tesseract, or the time space warp have hounded us in every form possible.

In the latest movie of X-Men: Days of Future Past, time traveling is not just a dream. It is the end-all and be-all if the X-Men would want to save humanity.

And so I wonder, given the chance "What would I correct from my past to save the future?"

#Nuffnangis007 and I Am Ready to Party!!!

I ended the month of love this year 2014 partying with blogger friends at Cabana Club, Resorts World. The party was hosted and organized by Nuffnang Philippines because this year #Nuffnangis007. The theme for the party is black and white dress for the ladies and suit for the men. I literally found a dress an hour before the party started and I was running late to meet my blog partner for Financial Literacy Philippines, Glads Reyes.

I'm not really sure what to expect. It's been such a long time since I went to a party for adults in a bar. That's why I was really relieved when we finally arrived at the club.

#Itcanhappentoyou - The Silent Killers in the Philippines

After taking a hiatus from regular school, I began appreciating weekends again. That's why when I went to Ascott Manila to listen to AXA Philippines on my precious Saturday, I have to admit I was dragging my feet. It was difficult to leave the boys when they are so relaxed and happy.

But a promise is a promise to which I am glad I kept. That's why on a very hot Saturday afternoon I find myself listening to AXA Philippines' presentation about the Big C  - Cancer - a disease that can hit anyone, anytime, anywhere - and what can we do about it?

AXA Philippines has partnered with Ms. Camille Pratts to talk about her experience on dealing with cancer. It was my first time to hear that Ms. Pratts has lost her very young husband (30 years old when he died at 2011) to nasopharyngeal cancer. What she and her husband thought was just persistent recurring colds and fever was already early symptoms of his cancer. Unfathomable! I actually had goosebumps while listening to her story. The idea that it can really happen to anyone was surreal.
